NeighborWorks® New Horizons (NWNH) has been part of various communities in Connecticut for over 25 years. We have been there for the community through both good and challenging times, and the current situation we are facing is no different.
Please know that our mission today is the same as yesterday, and will continue to be tomorrow – We help our resident – To strengthen neighborhoods by developing quality, affordable homes and supporting community building initiatives.

Maintain social distancing when outside of at least six feet; please follow the local, state and federal guidelines. Following these precautions will help us limit the spread of COVID-19.
As a community partner, we wanted to ensure you were aware of the following that you may benefit from:
- Recertification will be conducted via phone; NWNH will contact you for further instructions
- Work – Orders will be handled via the Work – Order number at 1.866.623.0416
- Please be aware that NWNH will be limited in staff members, and all work orders will be handled by maintenance staff Pursuant to agencies emergencies list. Example of emergencies: No heat/ hot water, leaks, main appliances not working, etc.
- Rental Payments can be made via:
- On line portal
- On site rental drop box/ Mail
- Walmart Coupon during their working hours
May, 2020 Update
NWNH office hours are Monday- Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with social distancing procedures still in effect.
NWNH will allow for residents to have access to Rent Drop Box located at 235 Grand Ave, New Haven, CT 06511.
April, 2020 Update
NWNH will officially close its doors to both public and staff to allow United Cleaning & Restoration, LLC to thoroughly clean, and apply CDC recommended hospital-grade disinfectant in the main office. This is a huge step for NWNH to ensure that we are doing our part in the community to help decrease the spread of any harmful bacteria and germs, including COVID-19.
The CDC provides consultation and assistance to nations and international agencies to help control the introduction and spread of infectious diseases.
