Budget Coaching

The Budget Coaching Program was designed to assist NWNH become current on their rent, avoid eviction, and develop good financial skills and habits through budgeting, money management, and credit repair. It achieves this through a variety of group and individual settings where the following topics are addressed:

• Understanding the Psychology of Spending
• The importance of a spending plan
• Budget and Goal setting
• Active Household Budgeting
• Credit Repair Counseling*

Every month NWNH reviews Aged Receivable for a list of potential Budget Coaching participants and conducts outreach. Program is ongoing. Classes are held at our 235 Grand Ave New Haven office or at the resident’s apartment.
