The following NWNH developments are the home to Resident Leadership Councils.
Winter Grove, Southington
Winter Grove is home to 40 households of older adults aged 55+. The Winter Grove Leadership Council conducts many social activities including holiday parties, bingo, game nights, and birthday celebrations. New Horizons, aka George Street Apartments, New Haven
The New Horizons/George Street Resident Council began when the development was first completed in 1997. Over the years the council has been part of organizing community events including health awareness activities, financial workshops, reading programs, and block-party style cookouts and activities for families. Hubbard Woods, Guilford
As NWNH first community, the Hubbard Woods Resident Council has been active since 1996. The council has participated in local advocacy, sponsored community events, and has been a staple of the Guilford community for decades. To join please contact Resident Leader Janice Curry at JCurry@ctwater.com.
